Miwa first practiced Shiatsu and Therapeutic massage in Japan and Hawaii and Auckland (at Sports Massage clinic). In 2007 she opened her practice in Auckland. Also she studied at Canterbury college of natural medicine in 2000 at Christchurch(Natural Health Study), so she could give you advice to change diet, life style, breathing, exercise to get a balance in the body and stay healthy.
Her treatment approach is a combination of Remedial / Sports Massage and Meridian Therapy which is focused on a holistic approach using meridian system (she does not use needles...) and understanding emotional states and physical well-being.
Miwa is also a registered practitioner of Biodynamic craniosacral therapy (PACT). While running a successful massage clinic in Auckland, she also taught massage therapy at her clinic.
Her main interests lie in chronic pain (muscle pain and nerve pain), acute pain, any tension release whether caused by illness, injury, stress by using trigger point release, Myofascial release.
Most of her patients report their pain decreases or disappears after treatment.

Lisa is Qualified in physio Therapist in Germany and have worked with Orthopedic patients with chronic pain syndrome such as hip and siatica pain, knee pain, Arthritis.
Lisa had successfully completed Manual Lymphatic Drainage training as well. She is passionate about helping client's needing assistance with postural improvement and, strengthening, recreation, and can provide rehabilitative exercises to assist in recovery from injuries or post surgery.
Lisa treats orthopedic and musculoskeletal disorders using a wide range of techniques such as Myo facial release, triggar point work, Remedial massage, Manual Lymphatic drainage. Her therapy involves working with joint issues as well.
She is excited to start practice in New Zealand, especially in a location as beautiful and peaceful as Wanaka. With seven yeas of experience as a physio therapist, her approach to her clients develop a strong clients therapist relationship to take an achievement client's goal was very successful.
She believes in sharing her knowledge with her clients that she can use to improve the process of recover from injury.
